Why was my verification document rejected?
If your verification document is rejected, you will receive an email explaining that your submission could not be approved. The most common reasons include:
- Blurry or low-quality images that prevent important details from being read.
- Cropped images where one or more corners of the document are not visible.
- Glare, reflections, or poor lighting that obscure information.
- Altered, covered, or partially hidden document information.
- Expired government-issued identification.
- Proof of Address documents issued more than 90 days ago.
- Selfies that are unclear or do not clearly show your face.
- Unsupported or invalid document types.
How can I avoid another rejection?
Before submitting your documents, please ensure that:
- The entire document, including all four corners, is clearly visible.
- Images are sharp, well-lit, and free from glare or reflections.
- All document information is fully visible unless specifically instructed otherwise.
- Your identification is valid and not expired.
- Your Proof of Address has been issued within the last 90 days.
- Your selfie clearly shows your face without hats, sunglasses, or other obstructions.
If your document is rejected, follow the instructions provided in your verification email and submit a new, corrected document through your account's Verification section. If you continue experiencing verification issues or are unable to submit another document, please contact Customer Support for further assistance.
